Everybody’s gotta make a living and that’s why repo men exist.

News out of San Jose, California today: A repo man repossessed a 2000 Honda Accord from a woman and in the process also repossessed the woman’s 2-year-old son.

Cyrus Lopez was fast asleep in the backseat of his mother’s Honda. Isabel Luevano stepped outside to pick up her 6-year-old daughter only to turn around and find her car and her son missing. Obviously, she was relieved to eventually learn her son was in the care of a repo man--who was sent to collect the car for which she was late on her payments--and not in the care of a kidnapper or child molester. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean she was happy with the repo man for not previously notifying her or even bothering to check the backseat before skidding off.
