They’re incompetenet. They lack common sense. They are arrogant to the point of stupidity. They are a large percentage of drivers cruising the streets of America. Whether it’s a “Hot Rod Johnny” doing a burn out to impress a group of girls on the corner or an elderly woman who is just lacking simple driving skills, there are drivers all over the country that should not be allowed behind the wheel but are. Here are a few of the unintentionally hilarious results.

This is the Hot Rod Johnny that we mentioned above. He clearly has a sidewalk full of spectators and a whole stretch of road to make his impression. Hot Rod Johnny makes his impression all right but it probably wasn’t the one he envisioned. Imagine the awkward aftermath of him exchanging insurance information with the unfortunate driver he collided with while the crowd that was expecting a display of true drivership murmur and giggle in the background.

Classic cars are a wonder to behold. Just ask the thousands that gather ever year on Woodward Avenue in Detroit for the world renown Woodward Dream Cruise. Most classic car owners take a lot of pride in their craftsmanship and guard their pride and joy with their life. So why would this misguided individual let a woman behind the wheel of his retro ride? We try to keep it unprejudiced here at speeduptraffic.org but let’s face facts: a large number of incompetent drivers happen to be women. This is a shining example.

We’ll keep it fair since the last entry was rather scathing toward the female gender, here is a video that displays the oft-hard headedness and misguided machismo behavior demonstrated by the common male. Here we have a dude on a rock. King of the mountain. And then there’s his friend behind the wheel of four tons of twisted steel and man-made wonder. Clearly the logical thing to do is drive it up to the top of the rock like they do in all those Chevrolet commercials. Well, as you can see, they failed to bring physics into the equation and paid the price.

I’m not sure if this is real or staged. It looks real but could there be anyone really dumb enough to ram a semi-truck into a wedding party that is questionably walking down a highway? This video is from Russia and I am not familiar with Russian wedding practices, Russian driving practices, or Russian faux-documentary practices but let’s just be thankful only a car got rear ended and not the bride and groom.
