Popular Styles Of Commercial Event Tents

Commercial Tent On A Dock

When you are planning a commercial event, there are a lot of details that you need to take care of. Perhaps the most important detail is finding a venue for the event. One option is to hold the event outdoors. Commercial event tents make it possible to hold events of all sizes in unconventional locations such as parks, parking lots, or gardens.

There are a lot of different styles of these tents available. They come in a wide range of sizes. For instance, some tents are small enough to use for booths at art fairs or festivals. Others are so large that they resemble circus tents. It is important to choose the right type of tent for your event. Here are a couple of the most popular styles that you may want to consider:

Pole Tents

As you might guess from their name, pole tents are supported by large poles that hold up the center of the tent. The roofs of these tents are stretched outward using tension lines. This helps provide stability to the tent, keeping the roof tight and firm. The primary advantage of these tents is that they are relatively easy to set up when compared to other types of event tents. They also tend to be quite lightweight which makes them easier to transport.

They do have some downsides, however. The biggest problem with these tents is that they require a lot of extra space around them so that the tension lines can be pulled tight. That means that you can’t set them up directly next to other buildings or other structures. There needs to be a significant amount of free space surrounding the tent.

Frame Tents

Frame tents have frames that are usually made from metal poles. Canvas or other material is then stretched over the frame, creating the peak of the tent. Some of these tents have walls whereas others are open on the sides. It really just depends on the design of the tent.

One advantage of frame tents is that they don’t require any additional room like pole tents do. That means that you can set them up directly next to other structures without having to worry about finding room for tension lines.

At the same time, however, these tents are quite a bit heavier than pole tents and are usually more difficult to set up. They also are usually a bit more expensive to rent or buy.

Commercial tents can provide much-needed shelter at outdoor events. When choosing a tent, you not only need to think about the size of the tent but also the way that it is set up. It needs to be large enough to comfortably accommodate all of the people who will be attending your event. At the same time, however, it also needs to have a small enough footprint that it will fit in the space that you have available. Whether you choose a pole tent or a frame tent, be sure to rent or buy the tent from a reputable company.
